Keynote Speaker: Seth Wescott

At age 31, Seth brings a wealth of experience and knowledge as a young Mainer, athlete, social entrepreneur and small business owner. As 2005 World Snowboardcross Champion, 2006 Gold-Medal Winter Olympian, and seven-times X Games Medalist, Seth inspires us not only as an athlete, but also as a young Mainer who gives back to his community. In conjunction with Governor Baldacci and Olympian Joan Benoit Samuelson, Seth is taking part in the Governor’s “Take it Outside” program encouraging Maine kids to spend more time enjoying Maine’s outdoors. He is also co-owner of a Carrabassett Valley restaurant, “The Rack.” We are delighted that Seth is joining us this evening with his inspiring presence and words.
